Mike trained as an actor Southeast London. Over the years he has appeared in many shows, plays and pantomimes with both professional and amateur companies around the country.

In the 80's Mike branched out into broadcasting and was heard on radio stations KSEA and KLIV in the USA, 6GE in Australia, BFBS in Malta and Gibraltar and of course in the UK with Plymouth Sound, Radio in Tavistock here in the South West and Premier Radio in London.
